英伦老牌军也回来啦，The Lightning Seeds在1999年发行了他们的第5张专辑《Tilt 》后，整整10年的时间过后，这期间，只有在2004年主唱Ian Broudie发行了他个人田园般的首张专辑《Tales Told》，Lightning Seeds 几乎没有什么大动作，现在又神秘般的重新回来了，带着90年代的英伦气息重新出征。十首歌曲的《Four Winds 》，浓厚的新世纪90s气息。老牌乐队的音乐就是温馨万分，也可以说纯真万分的气息。
The Lightning Seeds的名作《Cloudcuckooland》走红之时，后来在英国乐坛争得面红耳赤的两大摇滚乐队Oasis和Blur还都没成立呢！当然，对于多数生于80年代的歌迷来说，这只乐队毕竟不像Suede、Verve这样熟悉，但如果你想想把Oasis或者Beatles的旋律感来结合80年代新浪潮编曲，用比早期Blur更乖巧更阳光的声音唱出来，这就跟The Lightning Seeds八九不离十了。一句话说，这感觉就像加了弦乐编排的Pet Shop Boys和New Order联合向六七十年代流行民谣致敬一样。
